¡Hola! My name is Julia. I am a Spanish native speaker. I was born in Mexico City. At the age of 11 I moved to Spain, where my parents are from. As a Spanish teacher, I provide tutoring lessons and teach about my two cultures: the Mexican, with its festivals, costumes and traditions such as “El día de Muertos” and the Spanish, with its gastronomy and flamenco.
I have been tutoring primary students for a few time now and I would like to start my own tutoring firm. I always have a passion for teaching. Since I was little, my dream was to become a teach. How do I know this? by practicing when I was about 5 or 6. This is studying my subjects by giving lessons to my teddies 🥰. During my University studies, I assisted classmates with the subjects they were struggling with and helped them to study for the exam. Now that I live here in the UK, my dream has come true.
I have a Certificate from Instituto Cervantes for the course Diploma of Teacher Accreditation, and currently I am working as a part-time Spanish teacher assistant at a Secondary School.
